Each piece of stained glass is expertly hand-cut and
soldered using age-old copper-foil methods. Depending on whether the light is on or off, the glass shines in different ways. When the light is off, it feels like an old jewel with cool blues and burnt oranges; when it is on, it comes to life like a painting lighted from within.
This 16-inch piece has more presence ofcourse, than the smaller 10-inch version, which I love for bedside tables and corners. It saves space in a room, making it perfect for bigger surfaces like reading nooks and console tables or as a focal point to spark conversation in an open-plan space.
The shade's solid, antique-finished metal base adds to its
